The Corpus Christi facility shared the Dismas message of Healing the Human Spirit during the 2016 Ministry Conference and Mini Youth Spectacular sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Corpus Christi. Sister Constance Suchala (right), a Resident Monitor at the facility, spoke to many of the 775 attendees as they passed by the Dismas display and exhibit table. “Our participation was aimed at broadening the community’s awareness of the mission of Dismas Charities, identifying potential employers, and inviting volunteer participation,” said Director Mike Corona, who noted that the conference “identified speaking opportunities to children and teens about our mission and offered multiple ways these groups can live the corporal work of mercy.” Corona also met with Bishop William Michael Mulvey during the event (left).
