Five female staff from the Del Rio program attended the 2018 Southwest Texas Women’s Seminar with the theme of “Own Your Story”. Sponsored by the U.S. Border Patrol, the guests heard from motivational speaker Tinesha Cherry who is also an author, poet life coach, and leadership trainer. Cherry is also founder of She Strong, an organization dedicated to promoting growth, prosperity and greatness in all women. It’s vision is to enlighten, encourage and empower women to develop the skills, outlook and framework needed to achieve greatness. “It was a very inspiring and powerful message she shared and we are grateful to have been given the opportunity to attend,” said Director Judith Moreno.
