In mid-August, the El Paso (TX) program, in conjunction with the University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work Alumni Network, hosted training on Modern Slavery: How Social Workers & Other Professionals Can Be Involved In Understanding, Identifying and Ethically Combating It. Dr. Noel Busch-Armendariz, a Professor and the Associate Dean for Research at the university, conducted the training.
