In December, Monsignor Louis Kihneman III, Vicar General/Chancellor for the Diocese of Corpus Christi, Texas, read to children about the birth of Jesus as part of the Dismas Charities-Corpus Christi facility’s fifth annual Christmas party for children whose parents are incarcerated. Dismas staff, with the help of donations from the offices of U.S. Pretrial Services, U.S. Probation & Parole, U.S. Marshal, and the Sheriff Employees Association of Nueces County collected more than 100 gifts. Refreshments, caroling, face painting, and photos taken with St. Nick were included in the festivities.
