Charlotte Client Finds it's All in Due Thyme

Client T. Diggs arrived in Charlotte in January 2025, eager to pursue her dream of owning a food truck and already had chosen the name *A Taste of Thyme*. Initially uncertain, she found her footing by connecting with the Reentry Entrepreneurship Program (REEP), thus beginning her journey as an entrepreneur.

Diggs dedicated many hours to cooking and preparing her business and product presentation for the final competition last fall. Her hard work paid off as she secured a spot among the top two candidates for the $10,000 grand prize to launch her business. Upon winning, she celebrated with her mother and brother, both proud of her achievement.

Beyond her victory, Ms. Diggs was invited to present her business and offer food samples to City of Charlotte officials at a REEP organized gathering. Dismas Charlotte is proud of her progress since arriving.
