Mother's Day in Owensboro

In May, Dismas Charities Owensboro (DCO) organized a special Mother's Day Brunch attended for close to 60 clients, along with their Mothers, families, and children. The event featured a full-service brunch. Mothers where honored with roses and got to pose for photos against a scenic backdrop. To ensure everyone enjoyed the occasion, children were provided with coloring pages and activities. The brunch, which has become an annual tradition, is planned by Counselor Kathy Payne and is highly anticipated by everyone. In a show of appreciation, Owensboro's male clients took charge of the kitchen, preparing a delicious meal and allowing female clients to fully relax and enjoy their day. The thoughtful gesture was widely appreciated, making the celebration a memorable occasion for all involved.
